Enter Our “Funniest Caption Contest” On Facebook!

Last week, we had the pleasure of congratulating Shelly Patenaude for being the winner of our “Cutest Pet Contest”. On the MeloTel Facebook page, he uploaded a picture of himself and his dog, Harley in a loving pose. The MeloTel team decided that among the many amazing photos we received, Shelly’s was our favourite. It was, by no means, an easy choice. This contest elicited hundred of incredibly cute entries.

In all honesty, our “Cutest Pet Contest” was, by far, our most successful online campaign ever. We were so excited by the engagement and participation in the contest that we’re ready to launch another fun-filled contest. In fact, we did so yesterday! We’re proud to announce that we are now running our first-ever “Funniest Caption Contest”!

You could be the next person to win a $100 cash prize!

All you have to do is visit the MeloTel Facebook page and be sure to LIKE it. Then, simply type out a caption for the picture featuring Mark Meloche sitting in his dad’s office chair. Mark is the first-born son of MeloTel’s Founder and CEO, John Meloche and his wonderful wife Kathryn. The picture was taken when Mark was still a baby. But we’d like to have you write a caption that helps the MeloTel team to bust a gut.

All that we ask is that you keep it clean as MeloTel is a family business, as you may have been able to tell. With that said, we encourage you to be creative with your captions. You may even upload a meme that you’ve created as your caption for the photo shown in the post about our contest. There is no limit to the number of entries you can make, so go ahead and have some fun coming up with a bunch of funny captions. The contest ends July 27th, 2018.

The contest has only been in effect for 24 hours, but we’ve already received a bunch of great captions. “Why aren’t you working yet?”, “Whatchu talkin’ about Willis?”, “You’re late again Johnson!” and “Say hello to my little friend” are just a few of the early entries that have already given the MeloTel team some chuckles.

We’d like to take this opportunity to, once again, thank everyone who entered our “Cutest Pet Contest”. As we keep highlighting, the contest was the most fun we’ve ever had interacting with our social media audience. And, as we blogged about last Friday, running contests on social media provides many great benefits to businesses. We’re so glad to be a shining example of how a Facebook-run contest can help to significantly boost brand recognition.

John hits the road this Thursday!

As a final reminder, John will be taking a much-needed family vacation starting this Thursday until July 22nd. He will be back in time to help judge the winner of the “Funniest Caption Contest”.
