3 New Year’s Resolutions That Will Better Your Business

As you’re already aware, the MeloTel team has started 2019 off on quite the high! We’re revelling in the fact that MeloTel is now a 10-year old business. As we’ve pointed out in our last couple of blog entries, it’s a major milestone that we’re only too happy to celebrate for likely the entire calendar year of 2019.

We have big plans for this year. But what New Year’s Resolutions are you implementing to better your business? Try out these three ideas:

1. Become more active on social media.

This is something you’ve likely been advised dozens of times. And, in 2019, you can expect to be offered this advice on several more occasions. Simply put, social media are where it’s at! Your business accounts need to be active with links to your blogs, pictures of your products and videos of you and your team. Furthermore, you should be engaging with your friends and followers, answering questions and informing them of your company’s offers.

Consider their experience-based opinions and implement changes to vastly improve customer satisfaction.

If your most recent blog post is a month old, you’re bound to turn your website’s visitors off. Your online presence is vital to the success and growth of your brand in 2019. Be sure to make your website easy to navigate, mobile-friendly, regularly updated with interesting content and vividly eye-catching.

According to Alyssa Gregory on, “if it’s been more than two years since your site has been updated, if you haven’t done anything to make your web presence mobile-friendly, if you still haven’t created an email marketing list, or if digital isn’t a component if your marketing plan, it’s time to add this resolution to your list.”
